Bake. Play. Eat.

A festive recipe book for tabletop adventurers.

Bake an edible dungeon, fill it with delicious monsters, gather your party
around the table and play through your creation before devouring the spoils of battle.

Your next adventure is in the oven...

What if, instead of placing your miniatures on a battle map, you could build the battlefield yourself?

And what if, once the final enemy had fallen, you could eat it?

Bake Your Own Gingerbread Dungeon combines two of our favourite things: baking and tabletop role-playing. Inside, you’ll find everything you need to create a festive edible dungeon, from sturdy gingerbread rooms and icing decorations to snowmen, monstrous trees and mince pie mimics.

Build together, decorate together, play together and, when the dice have settled, tear down the dungeon one delicious wall at a time.

Choose the size of your adventure

Whether you’re planning one memorable encounter or an entire evening of edible exploration, there is a dungeon to suit your party.

Gingerbread Cabin

A compact build for a smaller group, a shorter baking session or the climactic location of your final battle. Fight outside, storm the cabin and celebrate your victory by demolishing it.

Gingerbread House

A larger playable space with room for your adventurers to explore, battle monsters and make a terrible mess of the icing.

Gingerbread Mansion

The ultimate edible encounter. Build a sprawling gingerbread dungeon with enough space for an ambitious festive one-shot, then invite the whole party to help bring it crashing down.

Not a gingerbread fan? The book also includes a sugar cookie alternative.

Plus candy torches, peppermint fondant snowflakes, meringue bushes, marzipan health boosters, edible tinsel, amaretti boulders and more.

As ambitious as you want it to be

You do not need to bake the entire book in a single afternoon.

Choose one of the three dungeon sizes, divide the recipes between your adventuring party or combine a gingerbread build with the book’s quicker decorations. You can create an enormous edible encounter or simply bake a few monsters for your next game night.

The recipes have been tested with flavour, sturdiness and ease of construction in mind, with helpful tips throughout to keep your build on track.

Some quests are best completed as a party. Split the baking between your players, then come together to build, decorate and play.

Need an adventure to play inside it?

Mimic-le on Gingerbread Street

A cosy festive mini-adventure written to bring your gingerbread creations to life.

The party has arrived in Holly Springs, a quaint little town where it always snows, the drinks are always warm and the townspeople are always jolly.

But something is wrong at Number 34 Gingerbread Street.

Everyone who has tried to move into the old house has fled within days, babbling about vicious furniture, moving shadows and violent shrubbery. Before the building can become a much-needed new orphanage, a band of brave adventurers must discover what is hiding inside.

Their investigation will take them past a possessed pine tree, an unusually angry snowman and a monstrous mince pie with a mouth full of teeth. Yet the truth waiting inside the house may be sweeter than anyone expects.
